May God speak to your heart through the following passages:
Romans 8:35-39
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:
"For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."
37 No, in all these things we are MORE THAN CONQUERORS through him who loved us.
38 FOR I AM CONVINCED that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, WILL BE ABLE TO SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD THAT IS IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD.
2 Corinthians 4:7-8
7 But we have this TREASURE in jars of clay to show this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.
8 We are hard pressed on every side, BUT NOT CRUSHED; perplexed, BUT NOT IN DESPAIR; persecuted, BUT NOT ABANDONED; struck down, BUT NOT DESTROYED.
All I can say, my friend, is Amen, Amen, Amen..."Struck down...but not destroyed." Praying for you; love you. Jill
ReplyDeleteDear Carrie, Micah and Holly,
ReplyDeleteWe've never met, but I'm a friend of the Grahams and also a friend of the Royces. My dad taught at Moody for 30 years alongside Ron. I just wanted to let you know that as I pray for the Royces, I'm also praying for you...and many others are doing the same. May God comfort you and may your loss come to embody a testimony to God's faithfulness. May Adam's life continue to testify to God's glory.
